Last Updated — 30.06.2026
Your privacy is important to us. At Mingle, we only collect the data necessary to provide you with the best possible experience. We will never take or use unnecessary data—every piece of information we request is essential for connecting you with other users, enhancing safety, and improving your overall experience. We are fully committed to safeguarding the information we do collect. Your data is secure, encrypted, and never shared unnecessarily. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the measures we take to protect your privacy when you use Mingle.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information:
- Required Information: Name, surname, and email address.
- Optional Profile Data: Height, social media accounts, country, matching preferences, and other personal details or preferences you choose to display on your profile.
- User-Generated Content & Media: Photos, images, text messages, or other media assets you actively upload, post, or transmit directly through the service.
App Permissions:
- Camera and Microphone Access: To facilitate Live Mingle video calls and security check features.
- Notifications: To inform you about connections, chat limits dropping, promotional events, and application updates.
Automatically Collected Information:
- Usage Data: Details about app interactions, duration of Live Mingle sessions, Spin the Bottle statistics, feature utilization, and communication metadata.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, network status, unique device identifiers, and application version.
- Location Integrity Data: We may analyze temporary device location indicators to verify that your actual operating region aligns with your profile settings to protect users from deceptive or fraudulent activity.
Note: We do not collect sensitive data fields such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, or health data.
2. How We Use Your Information & Content License
- Connect you with other users based on your strict preference configurations (gender identity and country targets).
- Facilitate interactions via our core features, including Live Mingle 60-second video connections and Spin the Bottle chats.
- Process, balance, and manage transactional logic for virtual Magnets and in-app interactions (such as sending a drink).
- Provide customer support, resolve user complaints, and implement active community security measures.
- Send notifications regarding connections, chat milestones, expiring spins, and general marketing updates.
- Enhance user safety by recording or monitoring video sessions to ensure community guidelines are strictly respected.
- User Content & Service Display License: When you upload, submit, or display photos or other content to our service, you retain ownership of your content. However, to operate, display, and maintain the product, you grant Mingle a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to host, store, use, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, developing, and improving the app's functionality and native features. This content becomes a part of the platform's user ecosystem and is displayed to other users based on your in-app matching preferences.
- Email Communication: We may use your email address to send you announcements or marketing communications directly from Mingle App. These communications will never be shared with or sent by third parties.
3. Magnet System & Rewards
- Features and interactions across Mingle consume Magnets upon a successful connection.
- New users receive an initial balance of 100 free Magnets upon registration to explore the app.
- Users can purchase additional Magnets directly through Apple's In-App Purchase ecosystem.
- Users can earn bonus Magnets by inviting friends; when the friend registers, invitation rewards are distributed. Referral rewards expire if they remain unused or unclaimed within 30 days.
4. Safety & Security Measures
- Video Call Monitoring: Live Mingle video sessions may be recorded or checked to maintain user safety and rigorously enforce community standards.
- Facial Recognition Monitoring: Users must maintain face visibility during active video sessions; otherwise, automated blurring algorithms will activate instantly.
- Inbox Gatekeeping & Anti-Spam: When a bottle lands on you, the other user cannot send messages continuously unless you explicitly choose to reply, ensuring full control over spam.
- Data Protection: Your personal information is encrypted, securely processed, and isolated to prevent unauthorized access or system vulnerabilities.
5. Sharing & Disclosure of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third-party brokers. However, we may share information in the following compliance scenarios:
- With Your Explicit Consent: When you choose to display profile data or text information to other users through matching features.
- Legal Obligations: When required by enforceable law enforcement requests, court orders, subpoenas, or strict regulatory authorities.
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party technical vendors assisting in app infrastructure, such as video framework providers, payment processing networks, and analytics engines.
